Hello Card Lovers,
This card was a little challenging for me because there are just so many cute cuts to choose from .
I live in the great state of  Minnesota land of 10,000 lakes. I live in a small northern town named Brainerd, home of Paul Bunyan & Babe the Blue Ox.We have been pretty blessed here with some great weather. We rarely get storms here, we recently have experienced allot of hot weather. These past two weeks with the heat index we have been over 100 degrees with NO breezes (yuck)!! So that's where my card decision comes into play. One of my favorite things to eat in the summer heat is, fresh fruit!! So for this card challenge I decided to go with Strawberries, here is what I came up with....

Materials Used
Simply Charmed Cricut Cartridge
Peachy Keen Funshine Face Parts

K&Company Berry Sweet Paper
DCWV Card Stock
Cuttlebug Embossing Folder

White Paint Pen
Black Gel Pen

Corner Punch

My card base measures at 5 x 4, my largest strawberry was cut at 3.5 and the smaller at 2.5. I decided to go ahead and emboss the little one, I decided to leave the large on plain and add stitching so I could stamp a sweet little face on it . I hope everyone enjoys my card and I hope you all stay cool this summer. If anyone has additional question about this card, feel free to ask and Happy Scrappin'.

Hello Card Lovers,

Yay, I have another card I made for a challenge that's going on over at Cardz TV Blog. I have been pretty lucky that I have been able to get into my Craft Room a lot lately. I guess the reason isn't the best, because it involves my little peanut cutting teeth. I guess we are lucky in the sense that when they are coming in he likes to sleep, but I would rather him not be in pain anymore. Fingers crossed that we will be moving away from that stage soon. Well on with my card.....
This card definitely makes me want to go to the beach. I live in Northern Minnesota and this past week we have been in the 90's but with the heat index we have been over 100 degrees, Yuck !!!

My CraftSpot Challenge (Fun Summer Colors)

Hello Card Lovers,

Well it's time to enter another challenge. This Card I made for the MyCraftSpot Challenge "use summer colors". This card definitely screams summer and I think the sentiment fits perfectly; it truly does make me smile when I see it. Well here it is....

Materials Used
"Best Friends" Cricut Imagine Cartridge (Kite Paper)
Create A Critter Cricut Cartridge (Kites)
Hero Arts Acrylic Stamps (Sending Smiles)
Peachy Keen Funshine Face Parts
DCWV Card Stock
White Paint Marker
Blue Bakers Twine (Doodlebug Designs)
White Button from my Stash
K&Comapany, Yellow Gems
Cloud9Design, Blue Gems
Fiskars Scallop Boarder Punch
Black Ink
ATG Adhesive
3D Foam Squares

My card base measures at 4.5X4.5. I printed and cut the kite paper using one of the squares that come pre-loaded on imagine and just filled it with the kite pattern using my "Best Friends" Imagine cartridge. The kites I cute from the "Create A Critter Cartridge", it's the accessory that comes with the giraffe on page 48. I cut the yellow kite at 4.5 and the green kite at 3, I used my gypsy when cutting these, so on the green kite I used the reverse option so the kite would face the opposite way. If anyone has further question on how I made this card, feel free to ask.

Thanks and Happy Scrappin'
