Some Bunny Loves You !

This is my second post for today, I guess, I could say it's my post for Tuesday because it's almost midnight. I am here to share a Easter card with you all before I hit the bed. I was privileged enough to win a cutting file on Saturday called, Hoppy Easter from Lisa over at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons. This is such an adorable file! I decided to go with the bunny holding the paintbrush for this card. Isn't this little bunny just so sweet. Can you believe this entire card except the base was made using all scraps!? I stamped my bunnies face using my Peachy Keen medium critter face stamp set. My Sentiment came from Scrappy Mom's (the charmed Life) stamp set. Of course my card had to have twine on it, no card is complete until there is twine on it. I used Bubble Gum Pink, Timeless Twine to accent my card. I then just added some pearls and purple rhinestones and a button I had in my stash to finish her up. I will be entering this card into the Pink by Design Easter Challenge, that can be found over at the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbon Blog. Thanks for stopping by yet another time to view my creation. You guys are all amazing and I truly appreciate all your comments.

FCCB Challenge #153 Spring is in the Air

Happy Monday Everyone!! Is it me or did the weekend just go by way to fast ?! I woke up this morning to another, 6" of snow. Okay, so I know I love in Minnesota, but it's supposed to be spring now. We have probably about close to 3 feet all together, YUCK !! So with that being said, I think this weeks challenge is just what we need to give winter the hint to move along.
This weeks challenge at Fantabulous Cricut is, Spring is in the air. For this card I decided to use my cricut imagine. The cartridge I used was the cricut imagine "Best Friends" cartridge. I cut the kite part out twice, one using the combined feature and one using the layers feature. I cut this as 3" and popped the kite and the clouds up to give them so dimension. I then added some of my FAVORITE twine by Timeless Twine, called Natural. This stuff is in stock and ready to ship if you are interested in your own spool. My sentiment was from one of my Scrappy Mom Stamp Sets, I am so excited that I am guest designer for them next month :) I then just added some ribbon, brad and some rhinestones to finish it up. I hope you all enjoyed my card and remember we all just need to think spring !! Hope you will find time to join us this week. Thanks for stopping by.

PKS Challenge 13-11 :: Anything Goes!

Happy Saturday Everyone :) Gosh, I already feel like the weekend is over. I had to work today so that always sucks most my day away. I was able to get into my craft room for a little bit tonight to put a card together for that current challenge at Peachy Keen. I always love the anything goes challenge !! As soon as I seen the current free, side step card over at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons I knew what I wanted to create. Here is what I came up with......
Ok, so isn't this just to dang cute ?! As soon as I seen this freebie step card, this idea popped into my head. This is what I was thinking about all day at work and how I wanted to create it.  I used my Peachy Keen stamp of the month kit (PKSC-15 March 2013) for this card. I colored all my images using my Spectrum Noirs. The grass, fence and two banners, I purchased from the online silhouette store. I embossed the fence using one of my cuttlebug folders. Did you see my tail on my cute little bunny?! I used some Lemonade Yellow, Timeless Twine and made a mini pom-pom, I also added a couple twine bows as accents on my card. Head on over to the Bella Creationz to pick up your very own spool, many vibrant colors to choose from !!!
I want to thank you all for stopping by and hope you all enjoyed my first take on a step card. I appreciate all your comments very much. Stay tuned, coming shortly I will be having an awesome company that is going to be sponsoring a giveaway on my blog, for when I reach 200 followers. Thanks for stopping by and have a terrific night !!

PKC 13-9 :: Just Cards :: Oh My Stars!

Good Evening Everyone!! Hope everyone had a fantastic Wednesday ?! I am so excited that I only have two days left to go before the weekend. Hopefully I can get some crafting in this weekend. Anyways on with my post, this card I am about to show you, I made for the current challenge going on over at Peachy Keen Stamps !! This weeks challenge is "Just Cards, Oh my stars" here is my card featuring stars...
I love how this turned out, there is so much dimension to this card. I used the February SOMK from Peachy Keen for my sweet little yellow star,  I stamped it on yellow star paper. I added some diamond dust stickles, and colored my stars eyes using a white gel pen and my Spectrum Noirs. Do you see that yellow star with the button!? I crocheted that using some yellow embroidery floss. I then added the button with some Lemonade Yellow, Timeless Twine. All the other elements are chipboard elements that I had lying around my craft area. Hope you all enjoy this sweet little card. If any of you would like the crochet pattern for the star, feel free to contact me and I can shoot you an email. Thank you all for stopping by and I hope everyone has a great night!!
