PPPR DT Day~ mi casa es su casa

Hello and Happy Wednesday my friends! It's time for another DT day for PPPR :)
I made a fun, "welcome to the neighborhood card", using a couple different files from the PPPR store.

Files Used:

Center Panel Step Card Cutting FilesHome Sweet Home Cutting Files

I just love the sweet scenes you can make using Lisa's Files, this card base has so many different possibilities. I didn't make this card for any particular reason, just going through all my PPPR files and seen these two and the idea kinda popped in my head.
My sentiment came from a set by Hero Arts that I had yet to use and that sorta jump started this card. It's pretty sad to go though your stash and find things that have yet to be opened, does anyone else have this problem!? Obviously I thought I was going to use the stamp set, or I would not have purchased it, that's one thing I am not, is an impulse buyer. I encourage all my crafty friends to pull something out that you have yet to use and get crafty!
I want to thank you all for stopping by and have a great day.

TTDT Day: R is for Robot

Well, Monday is upon us again, one of the best things about Monday, is it's my turn to post over at the Timeless Twine  blog. Possibly the one and only exciting thing about Mondays!!
We continue this month by sharing 3D creations with you all, I decided to make a 3D project to go into my peanuts bedroom. The hubby and myself are redoing a complete makeover on my old craft room :( and turning it into my 2 1/2 year old's, big boy room. My craft room is now down in our bedroom, it's bittersweet all in one, we made this decision because we will be planning for our second child soon.... no I am not pregnant yet, hopefully soon though.  I am lucky enough to still have a space to craft and having a hubby who is willing to let me have, half of our bedroom!
My peanut doesn't really have a choice, but I have decided that his big boy room with have the theme, "Robots", I am pretty sure he is okay with it though :) he loves my project!
Here is what I made....

It's a 3D Shadow Box Frame, I have been kinda on a kick with making these lately. I plan on making one that also says, "J is for Jayden" since that's my little peanuts name. I decided to loosely and sporadically decorate the inside of my frame with some vibrant Lemonade Yellow, Timeless Twine.
Lemonade Yellow Bakers Twine by Timeless Twine

My adorable robot is from the "Robots Cutting File" by PPPR.
Pattern Paper- Unknown
Solids-DCWV
Studio Calico- Wood Stars
Orange Sequences
Red Pearl Pen
Stapler

I hope you all enjoy my fun 3D project today!? I plan on doing a couple more things to the edges, like adding gears and more yummy twine.
Thank you all for stopping by and have a fantastic week!

Hello and happy Wednesday, this will be my first post for the day. I will be back to show you a sneak peek of a project I made for my step by step tutorial I am sharing over at the YNS blog, be sure to head on over to check it out.
Lets get on with some Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons Cuteness, shall we!?
Today I am going to be sharing a Valentines day card with you :)
I turned this adorable file called "Sweet Hearts Cutting File", into a shaker card. This file was perfect for this type of card, cause I honestly didn't have to change anything about the cuts, all I left out were the conversation hearts so I could use sequences and little heart punch outs.
Sweet Hearts Cutting Files

My little tag and sentiment are from My Craft Spot.
Sequences are from Bella Creationz 4u Etsy Store.
Sequins Mixed - Loose sequins mixed shapes and sizes - Sample size bag.
Other embellishment's were from my stash of stuff lying around.

I hope I have inspired you all to go a try your hand at a shaker card. Thank you all for stopping by and have a great day!

Robots Cutting Files

I used the release compound option in Silhouette Studio, so I could stamp these robots faces using some Peachy Keen Stamps. The "Outta this World" sentiment is also from Peachy Keen. The BFF sentiment came a robot Stamping up set I have. TTDT Day: Sweet On You!

Hello everyone, happy Monday, Its my turn to post over on the Timeless Twine  blog today! If you didn't already know, this month the twine-istas with be sharing 3D Valentine projects with you all. I am going to kick off my first post for this month, by sharing a bag I altered.

I decided to paper pierce my bag and do a scalloped crochet edge on it using my absolute favorite twine, Strawberry Cupcake. I didn't follow a pattern, I just SC down the bag, then turned, did four DC in first SC, SS in next SC, skip stitch and repeat.
SC: Single Crochet
DC: Double Crochet
SS: Slip Stitch

I put a Spellbinders die, cut side up, inside my bag and ran through my eBosser (thanks Dad & Mom, yes my dad does read my blogpost) :) to cut out the circle. I than placed the same circular die inside a larger scallop die by spellbinders to cut out the glittery circular frame. I put a piece of clear acetate on the inside of bag & adhered it down, so the candies wont fall out. The bag was filled with chocolates, but before pictures, my peanut and I got hungry :)

Items used from store:
50 Small Brown Kraft Bags - PRINTABLE BAGS - Candy Buffet Bags

Small Gift Tags - White

Sequins Mixed - Loose sequins mixed shapes and sizes - Sample size bag.

All my stamps used on my bag are by Peachy Keen Stamps.

Thank you all for stopping by and taking a peek at my altered gift bag, also be sure to head over to yesterdays post and check out our Simply White blog hop, if you haven't already, this new twine is just perfect and so are all the creations made with it!!

Okay, so are you ready to see what I created.... I whipped out the crochet hook for part of this project.
I just LOVE this twine, I have so many ideas whirling around in my head, this twine is so very versatile. Like I said, I pulled out the crochet hook and crocheted these adorable little hearts, I used two different hooks to get the two sizes. I then just added a button by threading it through the middle and tie-ing it off in the back.

My sweet image is a clear stamp from SP and Company from the Tine Wenke Collection, it's called "A Twirly Hug". I did the print and cut feature using my silhouette and using a file from the PPPR store called "Layered Labels 3 Cutting Files" to mat my image. I then colored it in using my Spectrum Noirs. My pattern papers I used, are from multiple different 6x6 paper pads.

Your next stop on the hop is the super talented Cassandra.
