Some Odd Girl + ARC Crafts!

Hello and Happy Monday!!
We have partnered up with the fantastic ARC Crafts to bring you an event that’s been in the works for MONTHS!  And we are SO excited about this, and we’re pretty sure you will be, too, because there is innovation, ingenuity, and PRIZES.

Here is a card I made using my Some Odd Girl Digital stamp and ARC Products.
Some Odd Girl products Include: Autumn Mae(Digital), Sentiment, Fall Friends(Clear)
This wood paper is super easy to work with and cuts like butter. I used a 1" circle punch & punched out bunch of circles using the papers listed above, I also punched out some pattern paper by American crafts. I randomly placed them on my card making a scallop pattern and adhered them. I then cut a strip of the wood tape to make a clean edge and ran through my sewing machine, using some gold tinsel thread.
Other Items Used:
Wood paper with gold accents(top part of card) DCWV Gilded paper pack
Vellum
Wood Grain Washi Tape(above sentiment)

Spectrum Noirs Used:
Boots: TN4,TN6,TN8
Skin Tones: TN1,TN2,TN3,FS4,CR3,CR4
Clothing: GB5,GB7,DR2,DR4,DR6
Hair: EB1,EB2

PPPR DT Day: There's no place like.....

Hello and Happy Sunday!! It's design team day for me over at the Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbon Blog. Today's card was very quick and easy to put together.  I used the print and cut feature of my Silhouette and of course an adorable file from the PPPR store.

Gnomies Cutting Files

I popped my images up using some 3D foam squares and then added some faux stitching. I seen this sentiment in my stamp stash (Sugar Peas Design) and that's what made me decide on these two images. I made a simple bow by wrapping some jute around my card and layering it under my sentiment.
I think this would be a perfect little welcome to the neighborhood or I heard you moved card, don't you!?
I hope you all enjoyed and I will see you all soon <3

Hello Everyone, Happy Tuesday :D I am super excited for digi release day, also only one more day of work after today and then 12 days off!! I hope in all those days off I will be able to find a little time to get crafty. My brother, sister-in-law and two nieces are here from Tampa, who we haven't seen for four years, so there will be lots of family time!! Now you all know if you don't see me in blog-land the next couple days, that's why.
So on with some digi fun, there are two new digi images being release today over in the Some Odd Girl Store. Today's images are, "Moving Kaylee" and "Party Pig", I will be sharing a card with you all using "Party Pig".
My papers and diecuts are from Crate Paper. I added some misc. embellies I had in my stash and then framed my image with some fun fringe ribbon.
I colored this sweet piggy using my Spectrum noirs.
Colors Used:
PP1,PP3,PP4,BT1,BT3,HB2,HB3,BG1
After I colored I added some glossy accents to his snout to make it look wet, like they usually do.

Some Odd Girl, Digi Feature: Nerdy Worm!

Hello and Happy Monday, this is my second post for the day to see my first post, scroll down.

It's time to feature another past digital stamp from the Some Odd Girl shop. Since school is right around the corner, this months featured digi is the super cute Nerdy Worm. I made a project, not a card using this super cute little worm.
P.S you can get this little guy on sale right now over in the digi shop.

If you can't tell by my photos, I turned a picture frame into a dry erase board.
I used my silhouette to print and cut this super cute little clipboard, from the PPPR store. I then print and cut out my digi and colored it up, using my Spectrum Noirs.
The tape measure wrapped around the frame, is a vintage seamstress tape measure that I had lying around. I created a little bow and them hot glued it to my frame. The marker is attached with an adhesive magnet that I cut to size.
You can use any frame for this project as long as it has glass, so you can wipe off the marker.
My frame I bought from Joanns on sale for $4.99.
Other items used:
This Moment Sentiment Pack: Some Odd Girl (Digital)
Wood grain washi tape
Pattern papers: Basic Grey
Fiskars boarder punch

This was a super fun project to make and I think I found a new addiction. How many dry erase boards are too many lol!?!?
Be sure to head on over to the Some Odd Girl blog to see what some of the other girlies created using this cutie!

I Heart U: Some Odd Girl Digi Release

Hello everyone, happy Tuesday! It's digital release day for Some Odd Girl stamps :D This weeks release is "I Heart U Gwen".
I colored my digi in using my Spectrum Noirs. I decided to go with a pink theme for this card, because what girl doesn't love pink. My heart background is from the silhouette online store. It was actually part of a card kit, I ungrouped it and erased some lines to make it my own and  left some hearts solid. My sentiment is from the Some odd Girl set, Flirty Mae(clear). I added a frame, flowers and misc. rhinestones to finish it up.
Be sure to head on over to The Some Odd Girl Blog to see what my design team sisters created using this digi.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Burger Anyone!?

Hello everyone, happy Sunday! It's design team day for me, over at the Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons Blog :D
I decided to make something other than a card today, can you believe it!
Today's project is a mini album but not just any mini album, it's a burger mini album.
I found the Inspiration for this over on Pinterest, don't you just LOVE that site!?!?
Files Used:

Cookout Cutting Files
This was super, super easy to make. I just opened the burger up in my Silhouette software and un-grouped and cut out all the layers. I did release compound path on top part of bun, so I could stamp a peachy keen face on it and then put the seeds where I wanted them.
PK Stamps Used:
PK-294 The Cornies 1 1/8"
PKSC-28 April 2014
I punched a hole using my We R Memory Keepers chomper and then used a closure to hold it all together.
I don't know what I will use this for yet, but I love it!!

Thank you all for stopping by and be sure to check out the HOT, HOT, HOT! blog hop that started yesterday, you still have time to join in on the fun :D
